The judiciary’s Defender Services account received fiscal year 2019 funding in the "Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2019” to increase the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) panel attorney hourly rates from $140 to $148 for non-capital work and from $188 to $190 for capital work performed on or after February 15, 2019.
